Uli Jon Roth started back in the 70s as the guitarist of the famous german band "Scorpions". He´s still well known as one of the best guitar players back then and nowadays. With more than 30 years in the music-business it´s really time to look back on these diverse times. The album "The Best Of Uli Jon Roth" shows especially the variety and the big range in music. The first CD is dedicated to classic music as he is one of the chosen few who knows how to play famous classic tracks like Vivaldi´s "The Four Seasons" and other parts from composers like Bach, Chopin and Mozart on electric guitar. He never looses the feeling and you will get goose pimples when listening to it. He also wrote compositions in these style by his own. The Sky Orchestra was formed to attend these songs. Some of the songs are instrumental, while other ones have great vocalists like Tommy Heart in the song "Bridge To Heaven". Each fan who likes rock music just as well as classic will find a little part of heaven with this cd. The second cd is dedicated to the rock times. You can find some highlights from the band Electric Sun for example. After Uli Jon Roth left the Scorpions, he founded this band firstly before starting a solo career. Of course there are some great cover songs on this cd like Jimi Hendrix´s "Voodoo Child" and "Little Wing", as well as the thoughtfully "Hiroshima Today?" and "The Eagle And The Rainbow".
