Salvo Vecchio - The Warm Light of Night by Rafael Nery Salvo Vecchio is a guitar player from Italy who has been playing since the age of 14. He is the guitarist for the band Ivory and the rock fusion project called Attitude , he also endorses seymour duncan pickups, but the real thing to be mentioned and reviewed here today is his new cd named "The Warm light of Night". Salvo is a very high skilled guitar player and we can check it already on the first track, the highly technnical and melodic Salvation. Seaward shows some electronic effects and nice riffs, giving us something different if compared to the first track. His country influence occurs on Rodeo Over drive which mixed with the rock influences bring us a lot of Paul Gilbert "taste". Very Nice! My Old wine brings a very rhythmic riff and a melody which develops itself along with the arrangement! The jazzy introduction of Intense Horizons is very unique and gets in the middle of a very progressive idea which highlights the work of the Bass and drums. The album also has great moments on Apophis 2036 and the very beautiful Strada panamorica, my favorite by far, due to the high level of songwriting and the great clean tone. For sure, you should check out this album! Contact:
