For this month I am going to talk about this band named Odd Zero which has released their full album named “Odd Zero”. It is something really interesting to do, because I do not receive cds with this kind of music all the time!So for me it is a really new experience.

The album was produced by the legendary Punk/rock producer named Don Fury in New York. What makes this album very unique is the range of styles, I can’t define their sound with just one word but I can say that it has influences from punk rock to metal.

“Libido Suicide” the first track is a up tempo song which opens the album with all its power and I have to make a compliment about the instrumental work, this is definetely the most technical punk rock I have ever seen. Nice solos totally influenced by the hard rock school.

We have great moments in “The Likes of you” , “Bloodletting” and by far my favourite “Karma Boomerang” which has the most powerful riff of the whole album followed by an amazing solo which could be credited by any famoys guitar player such as Paul Gilbert and Yngwie Malmsteen.
