Milan Polak – Straight Milan Polak is well known as one of the best guitar players, not only in Europe. He played with musicians like Falco, Billy Sheehan, jazz bassist Steve Bailey and Ken Hensley of "Uriah Heep" to name a few. His instrumental solo albums “Dreamscapes” and “Guitar Clinic” received very good critics from around the world. With the new album “Straight” Milan Polak added vocals to his music which turned out very well. His bluesy voice fits to the straight guitar work. Excellent rock songs like “Straight” or “Psychobitch” followed by wonderful ballads like “Hero” and “Happy Now?” are showing all his qualities as a guitar player and singer as well. You can find blues influences and great guitar solos like the one in “I Don´t care”, but not overloaded and too playful. Nobody else than Randy Coven (ex-Malmsteen, Ark) added some bass parts and Jon Macaluso (ex-Malmsteen, Akr…) is responsible for the drum section. A good team that turned out very well!
