Lelio Padovani - Chasing the muse

...............................................................by Rafael Nery

Lelio Padovani is a guitarist from Italy where he works teaching in some guitar schools , he also played in a guitar orchestra with 96 guitars and
he writes for some magazines."Chasing the Muse" was recorded and mixed by Lelio and mastered by Giordano Occhi.Lelio also endorses D'orazio Strings (www.doraziostrings.it) and Black Shark cabinets (www.blackshark.com).

The album starts with "Invitation" which really invites us in a nice way to listen to the rest of the album,"Chasing the Muse" seems to be a song influenced by guitar heroes like Joe Satriani using much more dissonances on the melodies , the beatiful ballad "Daydream" is followed by the tottaly dissonant chords of "Rainy" which brings a really nice use of this "tool"."Light and Shadow" came up with a nice hard rock riff mixed with more dissonant melodies which brought to the album a really nice effect, "New Day" starts with beatiful chords followed by a interesting melody, going on "Ballet" and the last track "Better Days" finish the album in a really nice way.

Lelio is for sure a great player and it worths checking his work out.
