Henceforth – Henceforth Brazillian band formed in 1993,but only in 2005 the
first cd was released.With the actual members - Frank Harris (vocal), Hugo
Mariutti (guitar), Luis Mariutti (bass), Fabio Elsas (drums) and Cristiano
Altieri (keyboards) – the band can show track by track a little of each
member. Starting with the little one, but indispensable,”In
the Garden" we can already notice that the sound is totally
different,showing an original heavy metal with a singer using a lot of drive. In the sequence, we have “I.Q.U”,which features André Matos.This song has a audacious lyrics, which does a huge impact for those who has never listened to this song before. “Rise
Again” góes in sequence, showing that the singer really knows how to dose his
voice, but we still can’t notice the influence of the keyboard on this track. “Higher Ground” os the song which shows Hugo and
Luis kicking ass.Hugo with an audacious riff and with the touch of his
brother’s bass,Luis, the song can remind us the band Rush. After some sample from the heaviest side of the
band,the ballad “The Pain’,starts sounding melodicly,during the sound,the
Hard Rock influence seems to dominate them. Backing to the heavy sound, we have "White
Addicition", where we can notice a good work from the drummer,besides
the polemic lyrics which talks about doctors addicted to morphine. “Both Sides” comes with one of the most interesting
songs of the cd, because the voice keeps again in a lower key,drums and bass
totally different, along with the guitar and keyboards playing a melody more
progressive.Following the same style, we have “Parallels” and “Issues”. After, we have “Opened Door”, which shows a more
reflexive size od the band, the melody is more relaxing and along with the
lyrics make us thing about life. To finish in a Nice way, we have “Nervous
Breakdown”, which can be considered a resume of the whole cd and dispenses
comments. Henceforth is totally an original band and really
