Demo - George Emmanuel
Hello
everyone .This month’s demo tape comes from one of the biggest young
guitar talents in Greece.
His
name is George Emmanuel and he has been playing the electric guitar since
he was 12 years old.His influences were classic heavy metal and nu Metal
bands. Then he got into the world of Virtuosos after listening to Gus-g of
Firewind and Steve Vai as well as many others.
The
track is called Carma and it’s a Heavy Yngwie Malmsteen meets John
Petrucci track. We can listen to fast harmonic minor passages, string
skipping and nice harmony melodies. There also are some interesting
changes from dominant Phrygian riffs to heavy pentatonic riffing. The
keyboards are played by Bob Katsionis, a Greek Keyboard virtuoso who plays
in the band Firewind and has been working with George for 2 years.
Our
only advice is to record more and more
tracks in the future.
