Tiago Della Vega - Hybrid by Rafael Nery Almost every guitar player here in Brazil has known Tiago Della Vega due to the Guinness record that he broke. Some people like this idea and some people hate it, but we cannot disagree that this guy has achieved a great recognition in the guitar world. I got very surprised when I listened to his album called Hybrid released in 2010 , I must say I was expecting a very shred and technical album and only that, but we can find different influences on this recording and most important some very musical songs.I could mention Destiny as an example of that. This song sounds like a good Satriani ballad and has a very beautiful piano intro. There's also a nice tune called Lost with several influences and rhythms. A track with a lot of Yngwie Malmsteen and Paul Gilbert on it.
