Hi everyone. This time I bring you 2 licks to help you in your future solos and improvisations on focus on our subject, that is Sweep Picking.

On the first example, we got a lick in E, that I used the triads of E,A and B.I extended the both arpeggios of E and B with a 9th.Technically we have besides the sweep, some legatos and slides.

On the second examples I used the same arpeggios, with slides played on 5 notes / beat.

Try to apply these licks in your solos on the Key of E/C#m , but always pay attention to the rest notes, because when we are playing arpeggios, we got to remember tat we are playing chords note by note, therefore, some arpeggios can not sound so sound melodicly played on some chords, but this would be a subject for next classes.

Great Hug
