Neo Pop Solo

This solo is taken from Neo Pop, a song from my first solo record. Its lines are built over a D mixolydian riff, in which I’ve used a guitar tuned a whole step down to record.

The solo’s first part is based on the D7 arpeggio, and later F#m(b5)7 at bar XXXXXX. The ending part is played over an A7 chord, where I use the A spanish phrygian mode, a scale largely used by guitarists nowadays. I use the Bbdim7 arpeggio and its inversions over that chord.

Hope you guys like it and see you next time!
