Hello Guitar Clinic viewers and welcome to this months edition.

This new column is about intervallic playing, which mainly is the repentant application of intervals besides 2nds in your lines. The ultimate intervallic monsters in rock blues playing are the unbelievable Carl Verheyen and Brett Garsed (with a fusion flavour) so you might want to check them out.

Lick 1) this is a simple pentatonic lick that is going to get you started. Start slow and then SHRED IT UPJ

Lick 2) this is a tricky intervallic shred lick which includes many fourths played with wide stretches as well as some tricky slides.

In Context: This is mainly a demonstration of such licks in musical context.
