This month’s cover is Gus G, a legendary Greek Guitarist who has worked with numerous bands such as Dream Evil, Mystic Prophesy, and Nightrage but is now completely absorbed with his band “Firewind”. So in this issue I decided to cover one of his finest solos of the great recent release called “Allegiance”. You can hear some nice melodic lines and some fast picking passages such as the last group of sixies. Practice it slowly, and then build up your speed. Note that your guitar has to be tuned in D.
